COMPANY BACKGROUD

Chuan Huat was started as a grocery store. During 1981, Chuan Huat acts a wholesale in the form of grocery shop. But then in year 1996, Chuan Huat became the distributor for Unilever. Chuan Huat moves over their store to No.19, TS6/1 due to expanding the company business. In years 2003, Chuan Huat moved to No.2, Jalan Utarid U5/17 which located in Mah Sing integrated park in purpose of growing the business. On the other hand, Due to needed bigger store for product storage, Chuan Huat bought over No.4, U5/17 as a backup storage. Furthermore, Chuan Huat decided to re-brand their business from Chuan Huat Partnership with Unilever to Chuan Huat F&B Sdn Bhd. Chuan Huat has awarded the license to be a distributer for Dutch Lady Product.

COMPANY GENERAL BUSINESS ACTIVITIES

Chuan Huat F&B is the distributor for Knor, Lady Choice, Planta, Lipton and Dutch Lady’s products. Chuan Huat F&B has about 40 workers and currently has 8 lorries to run the daily delivery operation. Chuan Huat F&B focusing on delivery and distribute to canteen, restaurants, hotel, catering and wholesellers. In this point of view, Chuan Huat F&B is concentrating in the areas such as Petaling Jaya, Klang and KL areas as half of the business are in the areas mentioned. Chuan Huat F&B became great advantages as in supplementary to Chuan Huat LPG business because both companies are operating based on similar group of commercial clients. In this case, satisfying customer’s needs are the priority.
